The newly launched Yamaha XSR 155 has started arriving at dealerships in select regions of India, and deliveries of the bike have commenced. Videos of buyers taking delivery of the bike have started surfacing on the internet. The motorcycle has been priced at Rs. 1.50 Lakh, ex-showroom, and it goes up against the likes of other neo-retro roadsters such as the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 and TVS Ronin.

The R15-based XSR 155 has been a popular motorcycle in India ever since its global launch in 2019. Owing to the huge demand and hype around the bike in India, Yamaha has finally introduced it on our shores. The bike boasts an elegant neo-retro styling and comes equipped with an all-LED lighting setup, digital instrument console, assist and slipper clutch, and dual-channel ABS. You also get Bluetooth connectivity as part of the package.
Powering the Yamaha XSR 155 is a 155cc, liquid-cooled engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA). It produces 18.1bhp and 14.2Nm of peak torque. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox that benefits from an assist and slipper clutch. The engine sits inside a Deltabox frame, suspended by USD front forks and a rear monoshock. Braking duties are handled by disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels shod with tubeless tyres.
