- New MT-07 unveiled
- Gets Euo-5 compliant motor
- Equipped with new LCD instrumentation
Yamaha has pulled the wraps off their new MT-07. This 2021 model has received some aesthetic as well as mechanical upgrades.
For 2021, the Japanese brand has given it a cleaner motorcycle to meet the Euro 5 norms. So the 680cc parallel-twin motor gets new exhaust system, revised air intake duct design and improve fuel-injection settings. The overall power output has gone down marginally, but Yamaha claims that this new engine gives out more linear torque delivery.
There’s also new side covers for the fuel tank. The front brake disc is now bigger at 298mm instead of the old 282mm discs. The Michelin PR5 tyres are new too. Yamaha has also given the bike new LCD instrumentation.
In terms of aesthetic upgrades, the new MT-07 gets new front look which sports an aggressive LED headlamp setup. The tail section remains unchanged. The bike will be available in three colours – storm fluo, icon blue and tech black.
