Yamaha has increased the price of the YZF-R15 V3 BS6 in India for the second time since its launch in December 2019.
The R15 V3 now costs Rs 2,100 more across the three colours it is offered in. The most affordable Thunder Grey colour is now priced at Rs 1,47,900 whereas the Racing Blue paint scheme costs Rs 1,49,000. On the other hand, the top-of-the-line Dark Knight version is now priced at Rs 1,50,000. (all prices, ex-showroom)
While the prices have increased, the Yamaha R15 V3 remains the same as before. It continues with a BS6-compliant, 155cc, single-cylinder engine that comes with liquid-cooling and VVA technology. This motor produces 18.6bhp of power and 14.1Nm of torque. As for design, the R15 V3 is inspired by its bigger siblings, the R6 and R1, and sports aggressive-looking split-LED headlamps, sharp lines, and creases all around the fairing as well as a sharp tail section.
