Yamaha MT-09 launched at Rs 10.88 lakh

Yamaha has launched the MT-09 at Rs 10.88 lakhs, ex-showroom, Delhi. The new MT-09 is now BS-lV compliant, but it also gets other goodies like LED headlamps, adjustable compression for the front suspension, an assist and slipper clutch, and a quickshifter for upshifts. 

The MT-09 is powered by a three cylinder 'cross plane' 847cc engine that generates 114bhp and 87Nm. With a wet weight of 193kg including oil and a full fuel tank, the MT should be able to give its owners a thrill a minute. The competition consists of the Kawasaki Z900, Triumph Street Triple RS and Ducati Monster 821.
