Yamaha has increased the prices of its popular entry-level premium naked streetfighter, the MT 15 V2, in India. The price hike is applicable for all variants of the bike, and the motorcycle has gotten dearer by Rs. 3,800.

The price hike is a result of an increase in input and logistical costs. Although the price increase isn’t substantial, the hike is slightly on the higher side and may influence buying decisions. The MT 15 V2 is now priced closer to the KTM 160 Duke, especially the top-spec model.

Powering the Yamaha MT 15 V2 is the same 155cc, single-cylinder engine that also powers the R15 V4. This liquid-cooled motor produces 18.1bhp and 14.2Nm of peak torque and comes paired with a six-speed gearbox.

The motorcycle is underpinned by a Deltabox frame and tips the scales at 141kg kerb. It is suspended by upside-down forks up front and a link-type monoshock. This setup lends the MT 15 sharp handling, making it extremely flickable in the city or even around twisty roads.
Here are the latest variant-wise prices of the 2026 Yamaha MT 15 V2:
MT 15 V2 Standard: Rs. 1,63,590
MT 15 V2 Standard SPL: Rs. 1,64,490
MT 15 V2 DLX TFT: Rs. 1,72,830
