Want More Control on Your Ducati Panigale Electronics, Barni Spark have a Solution
    • Compatible with 2025-2026 Ducati Panigale V4 models
    • Adds race-grade control for traction, wheelie, engine braking and data

Barni Spark Racing Team and Mectronik have prepared a new electronic kit for the 2025-2026 Ducati Panigale V4 series. Owners will be able to push the Panigale V4 closer to Superbike-style track configuration. The kit offers more custom control over systems like traction control, anti-wheelie, engine braking, throttle response and torque delivery. Only developed for the base Panigale V4, Panigale V4 S and Panigale V4 R with Ducati’s double-sided swingarm.

Since it suits the latest Panigale V4 architecture, Ducati’s India line-up already includes the Panigale V4 and V4 S with 216bhp and 120.9Nm, and the Panigale V4 R with 218bhp and 114.5Nm. These already come with advanced road and track electronics from Ducati, but the Barni-Mectronik kit is designed for riders who want a more open racing setup. The electronics system is meant to be tuned around lap time, tyres, track temperature, rider style and data.

Central to the package is the MKE8 control unit paired with the MKL4 module for managing four lambda probes. The system offers active and adaptive carburetion through closed-loop control during track use. After a session, the rider or technician can use the acquired data to create injection maps suited to the weather and track conditions of that moment. This makes fuelling to be adjusted more precisely instead of relying on fixed generic maps.

The core Bosch IMU inertial platform works with the rest of the electronic system to manage bike behaviour with high accuracy. The entire ecosystem operates at 1000Hz as a super quick reading and reacting system at race speeds.

The kit also includes a 2D TFT colour 3.5-inch dashboard in Mectronik specification. This dashboard has integrated data logging, 25Hz GPS and the PBH1 module for horn lift operation. JetPrime keypads developed for this system are also included to give the rider and team a proper track interface with controls that are easier to use in race conditions.

The gearshift system also changes with this platform allowing use of a load cell on the gear lever replacing the traditional road system. This should give smoother and more precise gear changes in a racing configuration. The kit has dedicated calibrations for the Panigale V4 R with the Akrapovic Performance Pro exhaust and for the Panigale V4 S with the Performance exhaust.

Basic kit already includes integrated sensors for water and oil temperature, fuel and engine oil pressure, inlet air temperature, customisable controls and the inertial platform. Optional kits can be added, including a lambda kit for advanced carburetion management and a sensor kit with linear sensors for suspension and brake pressure. So for the extreme racers amongst you, your upgrade has arrived.
