Ultraviolette Automotive has launched the Tesseract electric scooter in India at Rs. 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom). In fact, the first 10,000 customers will get the scooter at a discounted price tag Rs. 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Ultraviolette Tesseract is based on a next-generation platform and is powered by a 20.1bhp electric motor. It has a certified range of up to 261km on a single charge. Ultraviolette claims the scooter can do the 0-60kmph sprint in 2.9 seconds. The scooter will get three battery capacities - 3.5kWh, 5kWh, and 6kWh, and the range will vary depending on the battery size.

The Tesseract is a proper tech fest and comes packed with first-in-segment dual radars and front and back cameras that enable features such as blind spot detection, overtake alert, and collision alert. It also gets a dual LED-projector headlamp with floating DRLs and a large TFT touchscreen display with Violette AI connectivity suite and ride analytics. It also gets keyless access, park assist, hill hold, cruise control, navigation, music control, and more.
The scooter rides on 14-inch wheels and has an underseat storage of 34 litres, which is claimed to accommodate a full helmet. Safety-wise, the Ultraviolette Tesseract gets disc brakes at both ends with dual-channel ABS, traction control system, and dynamic stability control.

The scooter is available in three colours – Desert Sand, Sonic Pink, and Stealth Black. Bookings for the Tesseract will commence soon and deliveries will begin in Q1 2026.
