-Second offering from Ultraviolette in the works
-Will use learnings from the current F77 Mach 2
-Shown as Concept X during EICMA 2024
Ultraviolette is working on a new electric street naked motorcycle and patent images of the same have surfaced online. This is in line with our exclusive report where we’d spoken at length of the company’s future plans. The patent images of the bike reveal interesting details.
The design of the bike appears to be based on the Concept X electric motorcycle that was showcased recently at EICMA 2024. It follows the Ultraviolette design language, with sharp crease lines and a futuristic appearance.
The battery resides where you’d usually find the ‘engine’ in a motorcycle. It is the same place where Ultraviolette places its battery in the F77 electric sports bike. In fact, UV has stated that it will use a lot of the learnings from the F77 Mach 2 to develop its first electric street naked bike.
The other details that are clearly visible includes the single piece handlebar which will translate to a far less committed riding position, in comparison to the F77 Mach 2 with its low set clip on handlebars. In terms of the hardware, there is a USD and monoshock, while the bike rides on 17-inch wheels. Braking is taken care of by a disc brake at the front and the rear.
Lastly, expect Ultraviolette to equip the bike with a lot of features. The list should include a touchscreen TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation.
Ultraviolette may reveal its first electric street naked motorcycle by the end of this year.
