The TVS Ntorq 150 has been launched in India at Rs. 1.19 lakh, ex-showroom, Bengaluru. The scooter is available in two variants, with the top-spec getting some interesting features like a colour TFT display. That variant is priced at Rs. 1.29 lakh, ex-showroom.
Beginning with the styling, while the scooter is based on the TVS Ntorq 125, it looks remarkably fresh and distinct. This is evident from the shape of the LED DRLs and the indicators, quad LED projector headlights, and the aggressively styled body panels. Even the tail lights have a split setup that adds a unique look to the scooter.
Under the bodywork, the scooter has the same chassis as the Ntorq 125, save for different spring rates and damping for the telescopic fork and the monoshock. The scooter rides on 12-inch wheels at both ends. Braking, meanwhile, is taken care of by a disc brake at the front and a drum at the rear. Single-channel ABS comes as standard.
Powering the scooter is a 149.7cc, air-cooled, three-valve, single-cylinder engine that makes 13bhp and 14.2Nm. The engine is paired with a CVT. TVS claims the scooter can hit a top speed of 104kmph.
TVS has loaded the scooter with a lot of equipment. Apart from the all-LED lights, the scooter gets a full-TFT display in the top-variant. There’s Bluetooth connectivity, traction control, and two ride modes- Street and Race. The TVS Ntorq 150 also gets adjustable brake levers, which is a first in the segment.
Bookings for the TVS Ntorq have begun and deliveries will begin soon.
