TVS Motor Company recently launched the Ntorq 150 in India, priced at Rs. 1.19 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). The sporty scooter is available in two variants and a total of four colour options. These are Turbo Blue, Nitro Green, Racing Red, and Stealth Silver.

That said, each variant is only offered in three colours, and certain paint schemes are unique to each trim. For instance, the standard model is offered in Racing Red, Stealth Black, and Turbo Blue shades. Meanwhile, the top-spec TFT variant comes in Nitro Green, Turbo Blue, and Racing Red colours. While most of the colour options are vibrant and offer a certain degree of pop, the Stealth Silver paint scheme offers an understated, stealthy appeal.

As for its styling, the Ntorq 150 builds on the TVS Ntorq 125’s design with a much more sporty and vibrant visual appeal. The design is an evolution rather than being all new, and the bodywork feels fresh and unique.
Under the bodywork, the scooter uses the same chassis as the Ntorq 125, but TVS says it has been strengthened, while the suspension features different spring rates to harness the increased power. The Ntorq 150 rides on 12-inch alloy wheels, while braking tasks are carried out by a front disc brake and a rear drum unit with single-channel ABS as standard.

Powering the TVS Ntorq 150 is a 149.7cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 13bhp and a peak torque of 14.2Nm. The engine is paired with a CVT automatic. The scooter has a top speed of 104kmph.
The Ntorq 150 is one of the most feature-rich scooters in the 150-160cc segment, and comes packed with features such as full LED lighting with quad LED projector headlights, colour TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, traction control, and two ride modes. It also gets first-in-segment adjustable brake levers.

Although it doesn't have a direct rival, the Ntorq 150 will face competition from the Yamaha Aerox 155 and the Hero Xoom 160. Bookings for the scooter have commenced, and deliveries will start soon. For reference, the top-spec TFT variant is priced at Rs. 1.29 lakh (ex-showroom).
