TVS Motor Company increased the prices of its two-wheelers from 1 April 2021. And this has been a common move executed by almost all major two-wheeler brands. However, TVS has tried to offset the hike by making its best-selling scooter, the Jupiter, easier to purchase and own.
The company has rolled out a new low-cost finance scheme for the Jupiter with as low as 6.99 per cent rate of interest. Additionally, 90 per cent of the vehicle’s costs can be financed. Interested customers need to hurry as the offer is available only for this month.
The TVS Jupiter is an everyday family scooter that is high on practicality. There’s a large 21-litre under seat storage space, front utility box, mobile charging provision, a spacious footboard and an external fuel filler cap. Other interesting features include a parking brake, LED headlamp, dual-side handle lock function and metal body panels. It weighs 107kg and gets a fuel tank capacity of 6 litre.
The prices of the TVS Jupiter start at Rs 64,397 (sheet metal wheel) and go up to Rs 73,667 (Classic edition) (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi). In its segment, the Jupiter competes against the Honda Activa and the Hero Maestro Edge 110.
