Triumph Motorcycles has pulled the wraps off a limited edition Street Scrambler. It goes by the name Sandstorm edition and only 775 units will ever be sold in the market.
This limited-edition motorcycle is based on the standard Street Scrambler but gets a host of mechanical as well as aesthetic upgrades. It gets a brushed alloy sump guard, high front mudguard, a tail and a new headlight bezel with black grille. Along with these features, the British brand will also offer a certificate of authenticity with the bike’s VIN.
Talking about the performance, this motorcycle gets its power from a Euro 5 64bhp motor. The torque figure is similar to the older model but generates all the torque 50rpm higher. There are no changes to the six-speed gearbox.
This limited edition model will go on sale in Europe in May, but it is highly unlikely to be launched in India. The standard Street Scrambler will definitely come to India in the next few months.
