Top 5 new bike comparisons of 2018

In isolation, a lot of things appear great, but it is only in the crucible of competition do we find out whether they are really worth committing to. Hence the comparison test or review. Here are the five most popular comparison reviews of 2018:

1. Honda Activa vs TVS Jupiter Classic

The most popular two wheeler in the country is also the most-viewed two wheeler on Bikewale. And the competition tries its best to try and dethrone it. The Jupiter hasn’t managed it by a long shot, but it certainly offers better value than the Activa. Does it manage to be the better of the two, overall? Click here to find out.

2. TVS Ntorq 125 vs Honda Grazia 125

It shouldn’t surprise you that the second most read comparison of 2018 is also a scooter comparison. It also shouldn’t surprise you that it is a comparison between a TVS and a Honda scooter. However, it should surprise you that it is a 125cc comparison, and there’s no mention of a Suzuki. Here, then, is the new-generation 125cc scooter, with LED lamps and digital instrumentation and flashy styling with matte paint options. Has Honda successfully managed to shed the dreariness of the Activa 125 with the new skin of the Grazia? Has TVS managed to truly bring its racing heritage to the scooter market? Who does it better? Find out here

3. Honda CB Hornet 160R vs Bajaj Pulsar NS160

Another comparison, another Honda. This time it belongs to the other popular segment on Bikewale – the 160cc sporty commuter segment. The Pulsars have always been popular, but the new-generation NS160 was a new participant in the segment where the Hornet ruled the roost. Bajaj motorcycles have always delivered more value and performance than the competition. Did the NS160 also manage this feat? The answer lies here

4. 2017 KTM 390 Duke vs Bajaj Dominar 400

Another Bajaj comparison – one of a very interesting nature. The Dominar 400 and the 390 Duke are manufactured in the same factory, and they also share some components like the basic architecture of the engine. However, they are priced very differently, and are targeted at different segments of motorcycle rider. The Dominar offers a power cruiser experience that is great for touring, while the KTM is an aggressive streetbike that promises to make mincemeat of traffic. Which of these 373cc motorcycles is the right fit for you? Find out here

5. Honda Grazia vs Suzuki Access 125

We know that the scooter segment is the fastest-growing segment in the two wheeler space today, and three of out the five most viewed comparisons prove that there is massive interest in this space. The 110cc scooter space was getting too crowded, and manufacturers woke up to the fact that there was a segment above waiting to be developed. This was the first salvo in the 125cc space – the Grazia wanted a slice of the pie that the Access 125 enjoyed all these years. Did it do well enough to dethrone the king of the 125cc scooters, though? The answer is here
