- e-Access launch by September
- Unveiled at Bharat Mobility Expo
- Competes with Activa e, iQube and Chetak
It has been almost a month since Suzuki unveiled their first electric two-wheeler for India, the e-Access. This vehicle, which received mixed reactions at the expo, is being planned for the festive season launch.
The Japanese brand took the Bharat Mobility Expo as a platform to showcase its creation. However, it didn’t share the prices as it believes the best time to share that is at the time of launch. The new e-Access is likely to be launched between August and September – a time when the festive season starts in India.
The e-Access has decent styling and performance specs. It gets a 3.07kWH LFP battery, which helps the scooter reach a claimed riding range of 95km on a single charge. It takes close to five hours to charge the battery from 0-80 per cent.
In terms of completion, the e-Access will compete with the Honda Activa e, TVS iQube, Ather Rizta, Bajaj Chetak and also the Ola S1.
