The Suzuki Access is now available in an ABS-equipped variant and is priced at Rs. 92,328. (ex-showroom). As the name suggests, the Access ABS gets a single-channel Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS). This will greatly enhance safety as ABS will prevent wheel lock in emergency/panic braking situations. This is especially true in cases where the road surface has low grip, say during monsoons.
The Suzuki Access with ABS will be available across dealerships in two editions. The Access Ride Connect ABS Edition is priced at Rs. 92,328 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and comes in five colour options including Metallic Mat Black No.2, Metallic Mat Stellar Blue, Pearl Grace White, Solid Ice Green, and Pearl Shiny Beige.
The Access Ride Connect TFT ABS Edition, on the other hand, is priced at Rs. 98,378 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and is offered in a similar set of colours, with Pearl Mat Aqua Silver replacing Pearl Shiny Beige.
The company reiterated that ABS is a rider-assist feature and does not replace the need for safe riding practices. All said, considering our varied riding conditions, the safety net ABS provides is more than welcome.
