- New colour option introduced
Suzuki has launched a new Ride Connect TFT Edition of its most popular offering, the Access 125, in India. This is the new top-spec model of the scooter with a price tag of Rs. 1,01,900, ex-showroom, which makes it Rs. 6,800 more expensive than the Ride Connect variant with an LCD console.

The new Access 125 comes equipped with a 4.2-inch multi-function colour TFT screen with the facility to connect it to the rider’s smartphone via Bluetooth. Suzuki says this screen offers ‘brighter visuals, faster refresh rates, higher contrast ratios, and more accurate colours’ for delivering good legibility under bright sun or any ambient lighting condition. Suzuki has also introduced a new Pearl Mat Aqua Silver colour option, which will be sold alongside the existing shades, including Metallic Mat Black No. 2, Metallic Mat Stellar Blue, Pearl Grace White, and Solid Ice Green.
The new variant of the Access 125 remains the same as the rest of the variants in all other aspects. It comes powered by a 125cc, single-cylinder engine that is now OBD-2B compliant and produces 8.3bhp and 10.2Nm. It boasts a fairly large 24.4-litre under-seat storage space and a 5.3-litre fuel tank capacity. The kerb weight of the scooter stands at 106kg. The Suzuki Access 125 has been one of the most sensible and likeable family scooters in the market for a long time, and the new one has only upped the game with a host of changes.
