The Simple One S electric scooter has been launched in India at Rs. 1.40 lakh, ex-showroom. This scooter sits above the Simple Dot One electric scooter and features more range as well.
To begin with, the Simple One S has a 3.7kWh fixed battery that offers a range of 181km as per the Indian Driving Cycle or the IDC.
Powering the scooter is an 8.5kW, PMSM motor that can propel the scooter from zero to 40kmph in 2.5 seconds and can go on to hit a top speed of 105kmph. There are four ride modes on offer: Eco, Ride, Dash, and Sonic.
In terms of features, the scooter has a 7-inch touchscreen TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity and navigation. It also gets a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), park assist, and more. Moreover, it provides a storage space of 35 litres.
The design of the scooter is largely similar to the Simple One, with the same, sharp design and stance. It is available in four colours: Brazen Black, Grace White, Azure Blue, and Namma Red.
The Simple One S will be available across 15 dealerships in the country.
