RR Global, which claims to be India’s largest company in electrical industry has ventured into the growing electric two-wheeler business. This company plans to launch a range of e-scooters in India under the BGauss brand. According to the company, BGauss will develop and sell a range of premium electric vehicles specifically developed for the urban areas of India.
The company claims that their upcoming products will have a fluid design, low maintenance, great power and quick charging. It will also be equipped with features that will make rider’s life easier and more convenient. RR Global will launch two products with a total of five variants. The official website has one teaser image of an electric scooter which has sharp design.
Manufacturing and assembly of the electric scooters have commenced at their Chakan plant. It will produce around 80,000 units in the current financial year. It will be interesting to see if RR Global has developed these e-scooters inhouse or have imported design and parts from China, like the most of the industry.
