- Royal Enfield dispatches total of 60,041 motorcycles
- 55,910 units sold in India
- To launch the Meteor 350 soon
Royal Enfield has announced its September sales figures wherein it sold a total of 60,041 motorcycles.
Out of this number, the Chennai-based manufacturer sold 55,910 motorcycles in India. In comparison, Royal Enfield sold 54,858 units it sold in September 2019. However, the September 2020 sales figures are much higher than the company’s August 2020 sale of 47,571 units. On the other hand, exports contributed to 4,131 units of the total sale which is an 11 per cent decline from September 2019’s overseas sale of 4,642 motorcycles.
We expect Royal Enfield’s sales number to grow even stronger as it is scheduled to launch its most anticipated motorcycle of this year- the Meteor 350. The cruiser-style motorcycle offers features never seen on Royal Enfield products and will be offered in three variants. The Meteor 350 is expected to be priced somewhere around Rs 1.8 lakh (ex-showroom) and will take on the Honda H’ness CB 350 and Jawa 42.
