Royal Enfield sells 38,065 two-wheelers in June 2020

- Royal Enfield reported a 35% fall in overall sales

- The year-to-date number fell by 69%

- Announced several initiatives to enhance the buying experience

As the country is gradually coming out from the lockdown, two-wheeler manufacturers are reporting their sales numbers for June 2020. In the previous month, Royal Enfield clocked total sales of 38,065 as against 58,339 units in June 2019, thus registering a fall of 35%.

The domestic sales witnessed a 34% decline as the company sold 36,510 units in June 2020 as against 55,082 units in June 2019. Exports, too, saw a negative growth and Royal Enfield sold 1,555 units in the international markets in June 2020 as against 3,257 units in June 2019.

The year-to-date numbers witnessed an overall decline of 69% as Royal Enfield sold 57,267 units during April-June 2020 as against 1,83,589 units during the corresponding period last financial year.
