- Himalayan 750 prototype unveiled at EICMA 2025
- Production-spec model might debut at EICMA 2026
- India launch expected around late-2026 or early-2027
The production model of the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 is likely to be globally unveiled at next year’s EICMA show in Milan, as stated by the company CEO during an interview. The motorcycle that was showcased at this year’s EICMA and has been spied on multiple occasions is a prototype. The company needs more time to test it thoroughly before introducing the production model globally and in India.

The frequent sightings of the Himalayan 750 test mules this year near Royal Enfield’s factory in Chennai were hinting at a global unveil of the bike at the EICMA 2025, followed by its India launch. Instead, what the company unveiled was a prototype in an open crate for the attendees to gawk at, without spilling any technical details about the motorcycle. When asked about the unveiling timeline of the production model, the company CEO said that they might need another year to test the bike to make it ready for unveiling. EICMA 2026 is when we will most likely witness the global unveil of the production-spec Himalayan 750. It could be followed by its India launch at Motoverse 2026 or early 2027.
What we have deciphered from the spied test mules is that there will be two versions of the bike – a road-biased trim and a more adventure-centric iteration. The former will run alloy wheels while the latter will get spoke wheels. At the heart of the Himalayan 750 will be a new 750cc, parallel-twin engine. The motor appears to have a longer stroke than the 650cc twin, and we believe it will develop close to 54-55bhp and nearly 65Nm of peak torque. Moreover, the entire hardware package, including chassis, headstock, swingarm, and suspension, seems all new, made specifically for this model.
