- Alloy wheel variant spotted for the second time
- It incorporated a saree guard and engine guard
- Official unveil expected to take place at EICMA 2025
Royal Enfield was recently spotted testing the road-biased, alloy wheel variant of its upcoming adventure tourer, the Himalayan 750. This is the second time this particular variant has been sighted on the road, revealing more details this time around.
The recently spotted test mule was seen incorporating a saree guard, which is an indication that it is very close to being production-ready. It was also equipped with crash guards and a fuel tank cage, which is a signature element of the Himalayan. Moreover, it seems to get a remote preload adjuster for the rear suspension, as one can clearly spot the adjuster knob sitting under the sub-frame on the left side. Adding to its road-biased nature are the tyres with minimal treads, which look different from the variant with the 19-17-inch spoke wheels.

Other details which we have already spotted in previous spy shots include a circular TFT screen, which benefits from Google Maps navigation and smartphone connectivity. Under the bodywork, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 uses a new frame and a subframe. At the heart of the bike will be a 750cc, parallel-twin engine that is likely to be a bored-out version of the 648cc motor that powers Royal Enfield’s 650 range. This reworked engine should make upwards of 50bhp and 60Nm, and will be paired with a six-speed gearbox.
Royal Enfield is likely to showcase the Himalayan 750 at EICMA 2025 in Milan, Italy. This should be followed by its launch later this year, possibly at Royal Enfield Motoverse 2025.
