Royal Enfield has pulled the covers off the Flying Flea FF.S6 at Motoverse 2025 in India. Unveiled at EICMA earlier this year, the S6 is an important future-facing product for the legacy manufacturer. The S6 has been chosen to be a lightweight electric scrambler aimed at city use, with the ability to explore broken roads and mild trails on the weekend. The price is yet to be announced, this electric scrambler will hit the market at the end of 2026. It definitely looks like a working template for how Royal Enfield wants its first generation of electric motorcycles to feel and function.
Visually leaning on the scrambler theme, S6 uses a USD front fork and a staggered wheel setup with a 19-inch front and 18-inch rear to cope with potholes, gravel, and the odd trail. A long, enduro-style seat stretches along the top, making it easier for riders of different sizes to find a comfortable position when sitting or when standing up over rough ground. Drive is sent to the rear wheel via a chain final drive for more efficient use off tarmac. There is a Carbon version as well with actual carbon fibre parts to make it even lighter. But whether actual carbon fibre bits make it to the production version is still questionable.

The finned magnesium battery case has been designed to save weight and help with cooling. The front section gets sharp, forward-leaning fins that suggest speed and new technology, while the rear section uses smoother, more classic lines that echo the brand’s heritage. It is an example of an EV component being allowed to be the star of the design rather than being hidden away.
For the cockpit, instead of a rectangular tablet-style display, Royal Enfield has stuck with a round instrument housing, but with a high-resolution touchscreen. It pays tribute to the original Flying Flea with its simple shape, yet it offers all the expected functions of a modern TFT. Riders can see key ride information, use connected features, and flip between modes through a modern interface, without losing the circular visual signature that fans associate with the brand.
The bike is supported by the Flying Flea Tech Centre, with work split across India and the UK. The core of the electronics package is an in-house operating system and user interface built around the Qualcomm Snapdragon QWM2290 processor. This hardware enables 4G, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity. Riders can manage real-time vehicle data and access connected services directly through the cluster.
The FF.S6 comes equipped with integrated navigation, dedicated off-road mode, and lean-angle sensing ABS. This dual-channel ABS system is fully defeatable for enthusiasts who can turn it off when they want full manual control on loose surfaces. Traction control is also part of the package, supporting the high-torque electric motor when grip levels change suddenly.
S6 also gets a Voice Assist function activated via the rider’s phone. It allows simple voice commands to start navigation, play music, and perform other basic tasks. The in-house developed Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) manages thousands of ride mode combinations and constantly adapts performance to suit the rider’s inputs and the road surface. NXP microcontrollers handle high-speed data flow, secure communication, and energy management, helping the system react quickly and efficiently.
The unanswered question, of course, is pricing. With the tag still to be revealed, it is hard to judge exactly where the FF.S6 will sit against petrol rivals and other electric bikes. However, the level of hardware and software on display suggests it will not be pitched as a budget product.
