- GT 750 variants could differ in terms of equipment
- Faired and naked versions spotted
The upcoming Royal Enfield Continental GT 750 has been spotted undergoing test runs on multiple occasions. Besides giving away the clear technical changes over the existing 650, the spy shots also reveal that the 750 will come in multiple variants. And unlike the GT 650, which comes in variants differing only in terms of colours, the 750 trims seem to boast differences which are more than just being skin deep.

One of the most recently surfaced set of spy shots comprise a more minimalistic-looking trim of the bike with a fairing missing. It also gets a simpler side panels which looks almost identical to the existing 650. Meanwhile, a more retro-looking trim was a spotted a few days back with a Monza-style fairing and round side panels. This looks similar to the GT 750 race bike that was showcased at the EICMA show last year.

Besides being visually different, these variants might differ in terms of equipment. One of the test mules was seen incorporating the Himalayan 450-like round TFT screen, whereas a test bike with dual-pod analogue console was also sighted a few days back. Moreover, one of the previously spotted test unit was seen running a pillion grab rail along with halogen turn indicators, unlike the most recently spied bike which was deprived of the grab rail and incorporated LED blinkers.
While a clear differentiation of variants and their positioning is difficult to decipher as of now, it is clear that there will two different trims at least comprising equipment with varying degrees of modernity. As for changes over the existing Continental GT 650, things that are clearly different are the suspension, braking hardware, body panels, and seat. Furthermore, the bike will be powered by a 750cc parallel-twin motor that is expected to produce around 55bhp and 65Nm.
