Along with the launch of the all-new RV400, Revolt Motors has also launched its smaller model, RV300, in India. Available in only one variant, the electric motorcycle is available at a monthly instalment of Rs 2999 for 37 months which brings the final price to Rs 1,10,963 (introductory).

The RV300 follows a design similar to its larger sibling, RV400. It features the same street bike stance with a slightly slimmer fairing that covers the battery pack. The rear is a sub-frame structure with a petite tail section and a one-piece seat. Revolt is offering the RV300 in two colour options, Smokey Grey and Neon Black.

In terms of powertrain, the RV300 is differently specced compared to the RV400. It is powered by a 1.5KW hub-mounted motor that draws charge from 60V/2.7 kWh lithium-ion battery. The battery can be charged to 75 per cent in 3 hours and 100 per cent in 4.2 hours. The motorcycle comes equipped with three riding modes- Eco, Normal and Sport. In Eco mode, the top speed is limited to 25kmph with a range of 180kms; whereas it is 45kmph in Normal mode with a range of 110kms and 65kmph in Sports mode with an 80kms range.

In the case of cycle parts, the RV300 is suspended by inverted forks up front and an adjustable monoshock for the rear. Braking is done by a 240mm disc at the front and a 180mm drum for the rear. The system is equipped with CBS. The motorcycle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels shod with 90/80 (front) and 110/80 (rear) section tyres.

The RV300 is equipped with a digital instrument cluster and full-LED lighting. It also gets an app which can be used with the motorcycle for features like geofencing, notification when the battery is low besides several other features. Furthermore, the RV300 comes with an onboard charger and portable battery charger. The company will also be setting up battery swapping stations, to further strengthen the charging infrastructure.

Bookings for the motorcycle will begin from tomorrow while deliveries are expected to begin in September.
