- QJ SRK450RR launched in Malaysia

Chinese two-wheeler giant, QJMotor has introduced the new SRK450RR inline-four sportbike in Malaysia. With the price tag of RM 25,888 (approximately Rs. 5.83 Lakh), it undercuts its closest rival, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-4R, by a huge margin in Malaysia.
Apart from the radical and flashy design, the highlight of the QJ SRK450RR is its engine. Powering the bike is a 421cc, inline four-cylinder, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine, which produces 76.4bhp at 14,000rpm and 39Nm of peak torque at 13,000rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch, but a quick shifter is not available even as an option. Suspension setup comprises non-adjustable USD forks and a preload-adjustable monoshock, sourced from Marzocchi. Stopping power comes from Brembo-sourced dual discs up front and a single rotor at the rear, with dual-channel ABS.
The QJ SRK450RR weighs 176kg (dry) and the fuel is a sizable 16.5-litre unit. All the information is displayed on a large TFT screen with Bluetooth connectivity and Android and iOS screen mirroring facilities. Moreover, there are two riding modes, traction control, and launch control. Other interesting features include front and rear dashcams, action camera control, USB Type-A and Type-C charging ports, and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
The QJ SRK450RR is unlikely to ever arrive on our shores. Although QJMotor has a presence in India, the company doesn’t seem keen on expanding its portfolio, which currently comprises SRK 400, SRV 300, SRC 250, and SRC 500.
