- Electric Himalayan spotted testing
- Looks production-ready
- Specs are yet to be revealed
Royal Enfield’s electric Himalayan has been spotted testing in Ladakh, and the test mule looks nearly production-ready. It features finished bodywork, working tail section, rectangular instrument cluster, and gold wire-spoke wheels—indicating it’s in the final stages of development.

This test bike appears to be the updated 2.0 version shown late last year. While the design stays familiar, Royal Enfield claims major improvements in the battery pack and motor, both of which are entirely new. Also new are a digital UI and electronic suspension.

Though official specifications are still under wraps, the bike sports a chunky swingarm, front and rear disc brakes, and a tall, upright ADV stance.
Royal Enfield is expected to launch the electric Himalayan within the next 18 months. Its arrival will follow the Flying Flea C6 and S6, with exact launch timing depending on market response.
