Piaggio launches new scooter showroom in New Delhi

Piaggio has inaugurated a new showroom in Delhi. The sixth showroom of its kind in the capital city, this outlet will offer scooters from the Italian group’s two brands – Vespa and Aprilia.

The showroom has been set up in association with South Delhi Automobiles, and is located at A-20, Kailash colony, near Kailash colony metro station, New Delhi. Spread over an area of 1,700 sq. ft., this showroom integrates sales, service and spares facilities. The showroom will house the entire Aprilia and Vespa scooter range, comprising of 125cc and 150cc variants of the Vespa VXL and SXL, Elegante 150 and the two Aprilia SR150 variants. Besides scooters, the showroom also sells a range of accessories, riding gears and apparels. 

Piaggio’s decision to launch a sixth showroom in Delhi speaks of the high demand for premium scooters in the capital city. The scooter sales of Piaggio have doubled up since it launched the Aprilia SR 150 in the Indian market last year. Reports suggest that the company is planning to introduce a new variant of the scooter soon to capitalise on its popularity.
