- Bookings had opened months ago
- Rivals RV400, Rorr
Ola Electric will begin deliveries of its first motorcycle, the Roadster X, on 23 May. The announcement was made via the company’s social media channels.
The deliveries are expected to be rolled out in phases, with Bengaluru likely to be the first city to receive the motorcycle. This phased approach will help Ola monitor and address any potential early-stage issues.
The Roadster X features an 11kW motor and is offered with three battery options — 2.5kWh, 3.5kWh, and 4.5kWh — delivering a claimed range of 117km, 159km, and 200km, respectively.
Feature highlights include three ride modes (Sport, Normal, Eco), tyre pressure monitoring system, 4.3-inch LCD, and full-LED lighting. Braking duties are handled by a front disc and rear drum, while suspension duties are managed by telescopic front forks and dual rear shocks.
The Ola Roadster X will compete with electric motorcycles like the Revolt RV400 and Oben Rorr.
