- Will be powered by a new 890cc, V-twin engine
- Gets an all-new design and a composite sub-frame
- Likely to be launched in 2026
The next-generation Ducati Monster has been spied testing in Europe. The motorcycle will feature significant updates such as a new engine, revised styling, and more features. Let’s take a look at the bike in detail.

The biggest change will come in the form of a new 890cc, V-twin engine that will replace the outgoing 937cc, Testastretta motor. This motor won’t feature Ducati’s Desmodromic valve timing, but, instead, it will get a conventional valve train with overhead camshafts. The new powerplant will produce 120bhp and a peak torque of 93.3Nm.

Visually, the next-gen Monster will feature an all-new design. Although the motorcycle in the spy pictures is an early prototype, the entire bodywork seems to have been redesigned. It also gets large tank shrouds and what appears to be a new composite sub-frame. Even the exhaust system is new with a bigger catalytic converter, while the alloy wheel design looks different from the existing model.

It’s too early to speculate about its launch date, but we expect the new Ducati Monster to be unveiled in 2026.
