Kawasaki has introduced the new KLR 650S in the US market. This variant is a new model and will be primarily sold in the US.
For 2023, the Japanese brand has introduced the new KLR which has lower seat height and also less front suspension travel. The standard model has a seat height of 871mm whereas the S variant has been reduced to 815mm. The front suspension travel stands at 170mm from 200mm. The rear travel has decreased to 185mm from 193mm. There’s also a new suspension linkage at the rear.
Kawasaki is offering the new KLR 650S in two variants – ABS and non-ABS. The ABS model weighs 209kgs and the one without stands at 207kgs. Both the models are available in grey and green colours and have been priced at Rs 5.67 lakh and Rs 5.9 lakh.
The KLR is one such brand that could find a good market in India. However, the company has no plans to launch this bike in the near future.
