- New Diavel V4 variant design images leaked
- Likely to be the new S variant with subtle changes
- India launch might take place next year
Ducati could be working on the new S version of the Diavel V4, as fresh design patent images have surfaced online. The motorcycle’s design was registered with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) on 19 December, 2025. While Ducati hasn’t made any official announcement yet, the visuals hint at a mild update rather than a complete overhaul.

At first glance, the Diavel V4 S looks largely unchanged. However, a closer look reveals a few notable tweaks. One of the key updates appears to be a new wheel design with revised spokes. This may have been done to marginally reduce unsprung weight for improved handling. Another visible change is at the rear, where the signature quad-exhaust setup now features angled, slash-cut tailpipes. The detailing on the exhaust looks more premium, with honeycomb mesh inserts inside the outlets.

The patent images also suggest a subtle bodywork revision. The side panels and air intakes appear to be redesigned and look similar to those seen on the upcoming Diavel V4 RS, which is expected to be unveiled in 2026. While no technical details have been disclosed, visible wiring around the front fork hints at the possibility of electronically controlled, semi-active suspension. As for the engine, it’s unclear whether Ducati will make any changes. The current Diavel V4 uses the 1,158cc Granturismo V4 engine producing 168bhp, while the upcoming RS variant is expected to get the more powerful Desmosedici Stradale V4.
If Ducati unveils the updated Diavel V4 globally in 2026, an Indian launch could follow sometime in late 2026 or early 2027.
