-Gets sharper styling
- Get Pro ride mode as standard
-Has a 206bhp, inline-four engine
The new BMW S 1000 RR has been launched at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The superbike is priced at Rs 21.10 lakh, ex-showroom. BMW recently updated the S 1000 RR and it gets a revised bodywork among other changes.
The S 1000 RR looks sharper, especially when viewed from the front. The bike gets a new winglet that is bigger than the one on the outgoing bike. These winglets generate more downforce than the previous model. Elements like the gills on the side fairing, the shape of the fuel tank and the upswept tail section are neatly executed.
Coming to the heart of the matter, the S 1000 RR is powered by a 999cc, inline-four engine that produces 206.51bhp and 113Nm. It is paired with a six-speed gearbox with a bi-directional quickshifter.
As is the case with superbikes in today’s times, the S 1000 RR is loaded with a ton of features such as four ride modes (Rain, Road, Dynamic, and Race), traction control, hill start control, launch control, pit lane limiter and more.
In terms of competition, the S 1000 RR goes up against the Ducati Panigale V4
