- New Chetak 3503 launched
- It is the most affordable model
- Misses out on some features
Bajaj has launched its most affordable Chetak variant – Chetak 3503. This scooter has been priced at Rs. 1.10 lakh, making it close to Rs. 20,000 cheaper than the 3501 variant.
It looks like the company wanted to make the Chetak brand a bit more accessible to Indian consumers. This was possible by reducing the price, and in order to achieve this, the scooter sees reduced features. Firstly, it gets a simple Bluetooth cluster, long charging time, and misses out on sequential turn indicators. While the Chetak 3503 has the same battery pack as the other two variants, the top speed is far lower at 63kmph. The riding range, however, is marginally higher at 155km.
Bajaj is selling the Chetak 3503 in four colours – Indigo Blue, Brooklyn Black, Cyber White, and Matt Grey. The bookings of this EV have already commenced on its official website, and the deliveries are expected to start from May first week.
