Motoroyale has introduced a new offering in MV Agusta’s portfolio, the Dragster 800 RR, in India. In fact, the company brought a series of variants for the street fighter including the standard, America and Pirelli edition. It’s a known fact that MV Agusta motorcycles are breathtakingly attractive in terms of aesthetics, and so is the Dragster. In that case, we bring you a whole bunch of images of the motorcycle to gawk at.

While the Dragster 800 shares its styling cues with the Brutale 800 to some extent, it gets a number of design elements which definitely make it a head-turner and quite distinctive.

The motorcycle sports an oval headlamp cluster with a pair of arc-shaped LED DRLs which are flanked by sleek LED turn indicators. Accompanying this is a small and triangular cowl on top.

The tail section comprises of unique-looking, angular LED strips in place of tail lamp which are nestled under the pillion seat. Further accentuating the appeal is a chunky rear tyre and bronze-finished, slash-cut triple exhausts.

The America edition of the bike is inspired by the MV Agusta 750S of the 70s and features an American flag-like blue and white paint scheme. The red trellis frame and seat along with the white wheels lend it a bold character.

The Pirelli edition, on the other hand, is made in association with the tyre maker. It comes in two colour options including white and black sporting bright, contrast-coloured accents which make it look elegant.

At the heart of the Dragster 800 is a 798cc, inline triple-cylinder motor similar to the Brutale 800. However, it is tweaked for the former to churn out more power; 140bhp and 87Nm.

It is underpinned by a steel trellis frame which is suspended by upside down forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. Braking is handled by dual discs with four-piston calipers at the front and a 220mm disc with dual-piston calipers at the rear.

The electronics package of the bike consists of eight levels of traction control, ride-by-wire throttle, hydraulic slipper clutch and Bosch 9 PLUS ABS with rear wheel lift-up mitigation.

As for the pricing, the MV Agusta Dragster 800 RR and the America edition have been pegged at Rs 18.73 lakhs while the Pirelli edition costs Rs 21.5 lakhs (both prices are ex-showroom).
