- Alex Marquez finishes second
- Pecco Bagnaia brings home his Ducati in third
The 2025 MotoGP Grand Prix of Aragon was an absolute masterclass by Marc Marquez on the factory Ducati. The Spanish rider dominated on home soil, with a comfortable win.

Magic Marc
Motorland Aragon has always been a circuit that suits Marquez’s riding style and it was the case this year as well. After topping the charts in every practice session as well as qualifying, he won the Sprint Race as well as the Main Race.
Marc led the race from the word ‘Go’ and he began stretching his lead over the rest of the field in a couple of laps. Marquez didn’t put a wheel wrong during the entire race and ensured he held a consistent gap to his younger brother, Alex Marquez on the Gresini Ducati.

Finally, as the chequered flag fell, Marc was ecstatic as he celebrated an easy victory and stretched his lead in the championship.

The Field Plays Catch Up
Alex Marquez has been in great form so far, this season, and he continues to be the nearest threat to Marc Marquez’s title hopes for 2025. He’s been smooth and precise on the bike and that helped in this race as well.

Meanwhile, Pecco Bagnaia on the factory Ducati, was relieved to have made it to the podium in P3. The 2023 MotoGP Champ has been struggling to come to grips with the 2025 Ducati and has been looking for the “feeling” that he wants from the bike in order to push hard and win races.

Next Round
The next race of the 2025 MotoGP World Championship will be held in Italy from 20-22 June.
