Mahindra Centuro

The Mahindra Centuro, the latest offering from the manufacturer’s portfolio, is a technologically advanced motorcycle. It is the premium 110cc two-wheeler from Mahindra which is a value for money product considering the different features it is provided with at a comparatively low price. It shares the same platform with its younger sibling, the Pantero, considering the engine, design and styling aspects. The Centuro is powered by a 106.7cc MCi-5 (Micro Chip ignited-5 curve) engine that the company claims to have indigenously developed to produce 8.5bhp of power and 8.5Nm of torque.

This year it was the fifth edition of Indizen, which is an annual National Convention on “Operational Excellence”, organised by the Kaizen Institute of India. This time more than 45 companies participated and presented their case studies. They focused on displaying the efforts to drive Operational Excellence resulting in productivity, quality and delivery gains.

Nirmal Matharu, Senior Vice President & Plant Head, Mahindra Two Wheelers said, “Our thrust on operational excellence has ensured the highest level of quality across our product range and this award is yet another recognition of our efforts in this area.”
