- Electric Duke seen for the first time
- Gets aggressive design language
- Gets a chain drive system
KTM’s first-ever Electric Duke has broken cover, spotted in a video shared by the brand’s stunt rider, Rok Bagros, on Instagram.
Despite the brief footage, the bike’s aggressive styling is unmistakable. While it borrows design cues from the 390 Duke, KTM has clearly pushed the envelope with bolder elements.
The Electric Duke is expected to feature a 10kW motor paired with a 5.5kWh battery—specs previously hinted at during KTM’s earlier discussions on its EV strategy. While top speed and range figures are still under wraps, the focus seems to be tilted more towards performance than efficiency.
Interestingly, the prototype includes a visible charging cable, which could hint at convenient charging options—though it remains to be seen if this makes it to the production model.
Feature highlights include a fully adjustable front suspension, compact colour TFT display, and disc brakes at both ends.
An official unveil could be just weeks away. KTM is emerging from a period of financial turbulence, with Bajaj stepping in through a loan to stabilise the brand. This move has also given the Indian firm a controlling stake in KTM.
