- Will be launched alongside the 390 Enduro R and SMC R
KTM is set to finally launch the 390 Adventure R in Europe in the coming months. First showcased at EICMA 2024 in Milan last November, the motorcycle had faced a delayed rollout due to KTM's financial hurdles that impacted the brand across Europe and other global markets.

However, with KTM securing a EUR 750 million funding package from Bajaj, things are back on track now. This financial package has not only helped stabilise the company’s operations but has also paved the way for an aggressive product strategy in Europe.

Leading the charge will be the KTM 390 Adventure R, the most off-road-capable variant in the 390 Adventure lineup. It shares its architecture and many components with the new-gen 390 Duke. It is powered by a 399cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 45.4bhp and 39Nm of peak torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox.

Designed with serious off-road riders in mind, the 390 Adventure R features 21-inch front and 18-inch rear tubeless spoked wheels, long-travel suspension with increased ground clearance, and ergonomics for enhanced control during off-road riding.

The KTM 390 Adventure R will also be offered with a wide range of optional accessories, allowing riders to personalise their machines to suit off-road and touring needs. Notably, these accessories will include fully adjustable suspension components from KTM’s rally-spec catalogue, offering a level of customisation rarely seen in this segment.
Alongside the 390 Adventure R, KTM plans to launch the complete 390 range in Europe, which includes the 390 Enduro R, a lightweight, trail-ready dual-sport machine, and the KTM 390 SMC R, a playful and agile Supermoto for urban thrills. KTM is expected to announce exact launch dates soon.
