- It was priced at Rs. 12.90 lakh before GST 2.0
- Only inline-four, road-biased ADV in the class
The Kawasaki Versys 1100 has received a price hike, following the implementation of GST 2.0. The bike is dearer by around Rs. 90,000 and now costs Rs 13.79 lakh, ex-showroom. That said, it still remains the only inline-four, road-biased ADV tourer in the market at this price point.
The Versys 1100 has a 1,099cc, inline-four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 133bhp at 9,000rpm and a peak torque of 112Nm at 7,600rpm. The engine comes paired with a six-speed gearbox.

Its design gives it an imposing stance. From the twin LED headlights to the large fuel tank and chunky tail section, the bike commands road presence. The byproduct of its large size is the split seats that are pretty wide and accommodating.
The chassis comprises a twin-tube aluminium frame suspended with a USD front fork with preload and rebound adjustability. At the rear there is a monoshock with remote adjustability for the same.
The braking hardware of the Versys 1100 comprises twin 310mm discs at the front and a 260mm disc at the rear. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels shod with a 120/70 front and a 180/55 rear tyre.

The features list on the Kawasaki Versys 1100 includes all LED illumination, adjustable windscreen, cruise control, traction control, wheelie control, engine brake control, IMU, power modes, ABS, and a USB Type-C charging port.
