Kawasaki Indonesia has released a bunch of photos of the famous W800. These pictures looks are of the 2022 model and will go on sale later this year.
According to the pictures, this neo-modern motorcycle will be available in two new colours – red and black, both being glossy in nature. The red paint scheme is seen on the W800 Street whereas the gloss black will be available on the Café Racer version. The latter gets clip-on handlebars and headlight housing.
In terms of mechanical or performance changes, there are none. The W800 still churns out 51bhp at 6500rpm. This motor is mated to a five-speed gearbox and transfers power to the rear wheel via a chain drive. When it comes to modern features, the W800 doesn’t get much as it belongs to the classic product positioning era.
We can expect these new paint schemes to come to Indian model later this year and we don’t think there will be any kind of price increase.
