India-bound 2021 Triumph Bonneville T100 showcased

- Euro5 model makes more power than the Euro4 version

- Available in three colours

- Gets dual-channel ABS and switchable traction control system

The 2021 Triumph Bonneville range has made its global debut, and the updated series will soon arrive in the Indian market. The company is yet to announce the Indian launch timeline. The 2021 range includes the updated Bonneville T100.

The 2021 Bonneville T100 retains the styling from its predecessor and thus features a round headlight, round rear-view mirrors in chrome housing, twin-pod instrument cluster, rounded fuel tank with rubber pads, single-piece saddle, and twin-sided exhaust setup. While the styling hasn’t received major changes, the 2021 model benefits from cartridge front forks and Brembo brakes. Triumph Motorcycles has also managed to shed the overall weight by four kilograms. The latest iteration also gets a revised layout for the instrument cluster and black engine covers.

The new Bonneville T100 will be offered in three colours – Jet Black, Carnival Red with Fusion White, and Lucerne Blue with Fusion White.

Mechanical specifications have also been revised, and the Euro5-compliant model makes more power than its predecessor. The 2021 Bonneville T100 uses a 900cc, parallel-twin cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that now makes 64.1bhp at 7,400rpm and 80Nm of peak torque at 3,750rpm. The rev-limited, too, is 500rpm higher than the Euro4 model. Triumph Motorcycles will offer an A2 version of the motorcycle in the European market that will produce 46.94bhp at 6,750rpm. The engine will be linked to a five-speed transmission. The 2021 model also benefits from a higher service interval of 10,000miles/16,000km.

The suspension setup will comprise 41mm cartridge forks and preload-adjustable twin-sided springs at the back. Anchoring tasks will be handled by a 310mm single disc with a two-piston Brembo calliper at the front and a 255mm rotor with a two-piston Nissin calliper at the back. The safety net on the motorcycle includes dual-channel ABS and a switchable traction control system. Other features include a torque-assist clutch, USB charger, and immobiliser.

The list of optional extras will include 117 accessories such as waxed cotton bags, LED indicators, heated grips, and a cruise control system. Buyers can preview the accessories online before purchasing them through the Triumph Configurator.
