- Svartpilen 401 test mule was spotted with camouflage
- Was seen sporting Duke 390 wheels and grab rails
- India launch next year
The Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 has been spied once again. However, this time around, the bike was spotted wearing camouflage with wheels borrowed from the KTM 390 Duke.
The Svartpilen 401 has been designed to look like a Scrambler. It’s also known as a Black Arrow and has been built on the KTM 390 Duke platform. In fact, it uses the same 373cc single-cylinder motor from the 390 Duke but the engine will be retuned for a different power delivery.
The Svartpilen 401 was seen with a grab rail, making us believe that the India-spec variant is almost ready. The bike didn’t sport a saree guard, but expect it to be there when the bike is launched in India next year.
Bajaj is betting big on the Husqvarna brand. It plans to position these Swedish bikes above the KTM range and keep it as a premium brand. In terms of pricing, we’re expecting Bajaj to price these bikes at the higher end. It is expected to be sold through KTM showrooms.
