HOP Electric has commenced the deliveries of its high-speed e-motorcycle, the HOP OXO. The electric vehicle manufacturer has started handing over the electric motorcycle in Jaipur from its first batch of 2,500 units. The company said in its press statement that the electric motorcycle has received over 10,000 bookings and more than 50,000 interest within two months of the launch.
Speaking about the company’s delivery plans, Rajneesh Singh, Chief Marketing Officer, HOP Electric, said that in addition to Jaipur, the company will be starting deliveries in other states shortly. These include Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, and West Bengal among others.
The two-wheeler maker said in its press statement that the deliveries of the first batch are running behind schedule due to changes in the guidelines of the Ministry of Heavy Industries' FAME II scheme and the introduction of new tests and standards.
