Honda working on a hybrid-powered scooter for the international market

We have here some patent images of Honda’s latest design for its upcoming hybrid-engine scooter. The patent images have just been filed for an eco-friendly scooter that’s going to be part of the 2017 international portfolio.

The patent images reveal the details of the motor, specifics like the routing between electric and petrol components, the position of the dual-motor layout and specific placements of major components. The patent also shows that this model will have the stop/start feature and the electric motor will combine with the petrol engine when needed to boost power.

The scooter will be designed to do lower, city speeds in an eco-friendly manner. It looks very similar to the firm’s current SH series of scooters sold internationally. Which means, this ultra-efficient scooter will follow the design language of the same.
