- Bookings will open on 1 August
- Deliveries to commence in a phased manner
Honda recently unveiled the new Shine 100 DX in India. While the Japanese bike maker hasn’t revealed its price, we have learned that the motorcycle will be launched in India in the first week of August. The motorcycle is highly likely to be launched on 1 August, which is also when the official bookings commence.
The Honda Shine 100 DX is a more premium offering than the Shine 100, and is positioned as a visually appealing, more comfortable commuter. It features a new LCD instrument cluster, bold graphics, and a lot of chrome detailing to distinguish itself from the Shine 100.

Powering the Shine 100 DX is a 98.98cc, air-cooled engine that makes 7.28bhp at 7,500rpm and 8.04Nm of peak torque at 5,000rpm. This motor is paired with a four-speed gearbox.
The Honda Shine 100 DX is available in four colours: Pearl Igneous Black, Athletic Blue Metallic, Imperial Red Metallic, and Geny Gray Metallic. The motorcycle is underpinned by a steel chassis, suspended by telescopic forks and five-step adjustable, twin shock absorbers. The Shine 100 DX rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, fitted with tubeless tyres.
