Honda has unveiled the fully-faired 2019 CBR400R sportsbike in Japan. The motorcycle is identical to the CBR500R and both the bikes share a similar chassis. Although it is not expected to arrive in the Indian market anytime soon, we give you a quick glimpse of its stunning pictures.

The CBR400R gets Honda’s modern sportsbike styling sporting a sharp and combative design language.

It has been introduced in three colour options including Grand Prix Red, Mat Axis Grey Metallic and Pearl Glare White.

The pointed front end of the motorcycle gets a pair of LED headlamps which are housed above the air intakes.

All the information is conveyed through the blue backlit, fully-digital instrument cluster.

The CBR400R is powered by a 399cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that churns out 46bhp of power and 38Nm of torque.

It is based on a diamond-type frame and tips the scale at 192kg.

To absorb the bumps, the CBR400R is equipped with telescopic front forks and monoshock at the rear.

It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels and the braking is handled by disc brakes on both the ends accompanied by dual-channel ABS.

The Honda CBR400R competes against the Kawasaki Ninja 400.
