- Powered by a 649cc, inline-four engine
- Expected to be priced around Rs. 9.5 lakh to Rs. 9.6 lakh
The Honda CB650R naked street bike with the E-Clutch system has been teased on Honda BigWing India’s social media channels, indicating that the launch is imminent. The standard CB650R is already on sale in India, priced at Rs. 9.20 lakh, ex-showroom. Expect the E-Clutch system equipped bike to cost Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 40,000 extra.
The Honda E-Clutch system comprises servo motors bolted onto the new casing and these help in the shifting process. The same pair of servo motors also pulls the clutch when the motorcycle is stationary. This takes away some of the stress/fatigue that one may feel while riding on a busy road. The rider can also disengage the E-Clutch and gain manual control, if required.
Powering the bike is a 649cc, inline-four cylinder engine that makes 94bhp and 62.3Nm. It is linked to a six-speed gearbox. This engine is known for its refinement and let’s not forget the sound from the inline-four engine.
The bike also received a few design tweaks and upgraded equipment as part of the 2025 updates. There’s a new LED headlight, new colours, and a five-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity.
