Hero MotorCorp has launched the new Passion X Pro in the 110cc commuter motorcycle segment for starting price of Rs 46,800 (ex-showroom Delhi). The top-end variant of the new model with alloy-wheels, electric start, tubeless tyres and front disc brake is priced at Rs 51,800.
The new Hero X Pro is available in five variants and eight colours. The cosmetic changes include new instrument cluster with digital-analog readout, new tank, new body panels, new headlamp reflectors and fresh body graphics.
The more crucial change is in the engine. Unlike the traditional Hero bikes in this category, the Passion X Pro gets vertically mounted 110cc engine. This is the same Honda unit that is used in the Honds CB Twister and the Dream Yuga with power rating of 8.7bhp and 9.36Nm of torque. The engine is mated to the four-speed gearbox that has four-up shift pattern.
With the new engine the Passion X Pro will be fun to ride; with the added features and variant options this is now also the one of the best options in the segment.
