Just a few days ago, Hero MotoCorp revealed its plans to introduce their first electric vehicle. This upcoming product will make its India debut by March 2022.
Interestingly, Hero MotoCorp can’t use the ‘Hero’ brand for any of their electric vehicles as this brand is owned by Hero Cycles. As a result of this, Hero MotoCorp was looking for a new name to launch their upcoming EVs and the same company recently filed an application to register ‘Vida Electric’ brand.
Vida means life and there’s a possibility that this name could become Hero MotoCorp’s sub brand. However, we would still wait for Hero MotoCorp to officially reveal their EV brand plans.
